Having moved from Georgia, Dawn lived, with her husband, Ralph, of 18 years, in Maben for the past four years. She was a homemaker and faithful member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Maben, MS. Alvin, Theodore, and Simon were her sister in law’s donkeys who, when she moved across the pasture from them, were wild as the day they were born. By the end of her life, she had gentled, babied and soothed them into love for her. Alvin, especially took a shine to her. She was also known as a dog lover. She leaves behind her dogs with her passing. Two of a long list of dogs that relished her attention over the years.

Dawn is survived by two sons, Tommy, and Joseph Miller both of California; one daughter, Brandy Novack of California; one sister, Diane Kendrick of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Savy and Joy Miller; niece, Louise Grimsley and nephews, Chuck and John Grimsley, Billy Catzer, and Jody Pazdell; Her special friend, Lillie Corbell, and her church family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Pat Ewald; husband, Ralph Hall, and one grandchild, Knicklaus Novack.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time to be decided by the family at the Church of God of Prophecy, 1390 MS Hwy 15 South, Maben, MS with Pastor Louise Grimsley officiating.
