Charlotte Burchfield, age 70, passed away at her home on February 8, 2023, in Stewart, Mississippi. She was born on March 13, 1952, to Willie Lee and Cleo Knight Hardin.
Charlotte was a lifetime resident of Stewart, Mississippi. Her family was everything to her especially her grandson, Kohen, who was the love of her life. She loved to sew and sewed all of her daughters outfits by hand when she was young. Charlotte was a faithful member of Crape Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughter, Kelli Adams (Blaine) of Ackerman, Mississippi; one brother, Charlie Hardin (Wanda) of Stewart, Mississippi; four sisters, Pearl Patridge, Edna Johnston, Ruby Goss, and Ruth Turner; one grandchild, Kohen Adams of Ackerman, Mississippi; and her life in caregiver, Mary Vetter.
She is preceded in death her parents, Willie Lee and Cleo Knight Hardin; her husband, James Cotton Burchfield; two sons, Jamie and Jason Burchfield; two brothers, J.E. Hardin and James Hardin; and three sisters, Alice Turner, Ila Mae Burton, and Loraine Goss.
A graveside service for Charlotte Burchfield will be held at Crape Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Stewart, Mississippi on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Wise Reed Funeral Home in Eupora, Mississippi from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Brother Doug Atkinson and personal thoughts will be made by Kohen Adams. Pallbearers are Kevin Philley, David Green, Sr., David Green Jr., Patrick Hardin, Charlie Hardin Jr., and Ricky Brock. Wise Reed Funeral Home Is in charge of all arrangements.
